Bakom is a Peruvian martial art created in the early 1980s by Roberto Puch Bezada, an ex-commando of the Peruvian army and street fighter. The dissemination of Bakom has been carried out through books and local and international television (ATV, ARD, in 1997).
The Bakom is a mixture of all kinds of street fighting techniques, very popular in confrontation of the Lima of yesteryear, where duels of honor were performed. Roberto Puch Bezada was born in the District of La Victoria, in the capital of Peru, Lima, and grew up in Barrios Altos, in Cercado de Lima. He created and formalized the martial art of Bakom. The original name is Bakom, named after its creator.
