Grinberg-Dwek-Iglesias


Grinberg-Dwek-Iglesias is an Argentine architectural studio. It is directed by Jaime Grinberg (1954), Adriana Dwek (1957) and Julio Iglesias (1960), and has carried out works of importance in Buenos Aires, such as the Holocaust Museum, the Saavedra Educational Pole and the West Green Corridor project (not done).

Formed in 1987 by the three original partners together with Gustavo Sartorio (between 1990 and 2000), they received the Biennial Prize for the Young Generation (1993), the Konex Prize (2002) and the Second Frankfurt Pavilion Prize 2009), among other awards.

The production of the studio is divided between a series of apartment buildings in the north of Buenos Aires, two houses in Villa La Angostura, several offices for Movicom and two summer houses in Uruguay. However, the most important projects, such as the Club Atlético Sefaradí Argentino (2008), the refurbishment of the interiors of the AFIP headquarters in Plaza de Mayo (2006), the Saavedra Educational Center (under construction) and especially the Holocaust Museum, occupying an old sub-plant of the CIAE in the neighborhood of Recoleta. In 2012, associated with the Del Puerto-Sardín study, they designed two buildings in the capital of Mongolia.

In the field of remodeling, they also worked in a restaurant in La Rural and the Mishkan Synagogue in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano.
