Ignacio Cruz Centeno
Ignacio Cruz Centeno was a Mexican politician. He was born in the Villa de Almoloyan, today Villa de Álvarez, Colima. He was deputy to several local legislatures, as in the First Legislature of the Congress of the State of Colima and federal, among them the constituent of 1857. He was also prefect of the district of Alvarez. In 1872 he housed General Porfirio Diaz, who by that time had pronounced the Plan de la Noria, facilitating his departure from the territory of Colima. He died on November 24, 1896 at the age of 73, in Villa de Álvarez.
