Flag of Móstoles

Of very recent design (1 of April of 2004), the flag of Móstoles (Community of Madrid, Spain) includes the following colors: crimson red, that symbolizes the membership to the Community of Madrid and that in turn represents its belongings to Castile; the Prussian blue, according to its mayor symbol of identity of the mostoleños and of European Union membership; and yellow-gualda (gold), which expresses prosperity, as a yearning for neighbors from various Spanish regions who established their residence in the city in the 1970s.

On the central strip, one third of the length of the flag towards the flagpole, the municipal coat of arms of the town is located, although without the band.
