Rafael Seco and Sánchez

Rafael Seco y Sánchez (* 1895 in Madrid, † February 2, 1933) was a Spanish university lecturer, Licenciado en Filosofía y Letras and linguists. He taught and published as a university lecturer at the Universidad de Madrid and was the author of the "Manual de gramática española publicado" (1930). Seco y Sánchez was married to Carmen Reymundo Mariño, one of her sons is the linguist Manuel Seco Reymundo. The couple had more children about Carmen, Elena and Rafael. His mother was Elena Sánchez Pastorfido.
