Haraldur Einarsson


Haraldur Einarsson (* September 24, 1987 in Selfoss) is an Icelandic track record and politician of the Progress Party.

Haraldur is a trained carpenter, studied environmental and civil engineering at the University of Iceland and is working as a farmer on the Urriðafoss farm at the waterfall of the same name in Selfoss (municipality of Árborg). In 2013 he became Icelandic champion in the 60 meter run in the hall.

Since the Icelandic parliamentary elections of 27 April 2013, Haraldur has been a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the Southern constituency. He was a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Environment and Communications. Haraldur has not joined the parliamentary elections in Iceland in 2016 because he wanted to return to agriculture.
