Fiji National University (Fiji National University) was formed in 2010 as a result of the merger of six institutions in Fiji, namely the Fiji Institute of Technology, Fiji School of Nursing, College of Education Advanced from Fiji, Lautoka Teachers College, Fiji Medical School and the Fijian Agriculture College. He is currently headed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Ganesh Chand, who has been an academic at the University of the South Pacific and also founder of the University of Fiji. The UNF now has campuses and centers in 33 locations across the country, developing a total of approximately 30 different courses and programs with a staff of more than 1800 and in January 2012, reaching a record enrollment of more than 20,000 students. / p>
