Law 46 of 1905 (Colombia)


Administrative distribution of the Republic of Colombia, in the year 1905. The law 46 of 1905 of the Republic of Colombia "On the creation of three departments", is an act of law promulgated in the framework of the National Constituent Assembly and Legislative of that year; is composed of six articles, which make explicit to the territorial organization of the republic.

According to the intention of the text, the department of Tundama, Quesada and Huila was created, whose capitals were Santa Rosa de Viterbo, Zipaquirá and Neiva, respectively. And defined the localities that would conform the department of Boyacá, Cundinamarca and Tolima.
