Josef Stoffels (born April 27, 1893 in Essen, Germany) was a German photographer. Edit LifeQualtext

Josef Stoffels worked in the decorator's trade until 1930, and then became a self-employed freelance photographer. 1937 he was in the graphic institute of the Fried. Krupp AG as an industrial photographer. In 1948 he passed the master's examination as a photographer at the Düsseldorf Chamber of Crafts. Stoffels' estate is kept in the Ruhrland Museum and is regarded as an important document of post-war industrial photography.
