Greater Israel

Greater Israel, better translated as the Integral Territory of Israel, (in Hebrew, ארץ ישראל השלמה, Eretz Yisra`el Hašlemah) is a term that denotes the Biblical borders of Israel. It is found in the book of Genesis 15: 18-21, which describes God's covenant with Abraham:

On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abraham, and said, "I give to your descendants the land from the river of Egypt to the river Euphrates, the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Cadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaim Amorites, Canaanites, Girgasites and Yebusites. "
