Flag of Jersey


The flag of Jersey Bailiazgo. The flag of Jersey was adopted by the "States of Jersey" on 12 June 1979 and approved by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom on 10 December 1980. It was officially hoisted on the 1st of April 1981.

It consists of a white cloth in which there is a red cross of San Andres that extends to the edges of the same dividing it into four quadrants. In the upper quadrant the emblem of Jersey is represented: a shield surmounted by the crown of the Plantagenet Dynasty, of red color (gules) with the three leopards (or lions, in heraldic their figures are confused).
