Dario Veras

Darío Antonio Veras (born March 13, 1973 in Santiago) is a Dominican reliever pitcher who played in the Major League Baseball. Signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers on May 19, 1990, Vera played for the San Diego Padres (1996 and 1997) and for the Boston Red Sox (1998). Veras tried to return with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2007, but was eventually removed from the team during spring training.

Veras played in South Korea for the Hyundai Unicorns. He has also played in the Mexican League with the Vaqueros Laguna; and in the Dominican League with the Giants of the Cibao. He currently plays as a closer for the Cibaeñas Eagles.
