Candeal is a group of Castilian folklore of the province of Valladolid, in the autonomous community of Castile and Leon, Spain. They began their musical race in the years 1970. The name of the group comes from wheat candeal, a variety of the wheat very cultivated in Castile. It has published a total of 19 discs, and they are known mainly for being during years the protagonists of the closing of the celebrations of the Virgin of San Lorenzo de Valladolid and by its Sunday column in the newspaper the North of Castile.
