Sports Palace of Pau

The Palau de Sports de Pau is a covered sports complex located in the French town of Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques).

It was inaugurated in 1991 after a construction process that lasted for a year and had a budget of 78 million French francs (about 12 million euros).

It has a capacity for 7,707 spectators and it is the stage where it contests its meetings as local the ÉB Pau-Orthez.

It was one of the venues where the Eurobasket 1999, the 2007 Basketball Match des Champions and the 2007 Women's World Handball Championship were held. It has also been used for matches of the French basketball team and the team of Davis Cup of France.
