José Albino Bazán Padilla


José Albino Bazán Padilla is a drug trafficker currently imprisoned in Mexico, captured on April 4, 1985 in Quinta California, Costa Rica, along with Rafael Caro Quintero.

José Albino, together with Rafael Caro, Juan José Esparragosa and Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo led the plaza or cartel of Guadalajara in those times. In addition Jose Albino had his late brother and also famous drug trafficker Miguel Angel Bazan Padilla, who had a place in Tijuana, Baja California.

Albino Bazan has several arrest warrants in the United States, is one of the most wanted fugitives by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in the city of Los Angeles, for crimes against health, conspiracy to traffic cocaine and marijuana, and is also accused of having participated in the murder and abduction of a federal agent of the DEA, Enrique Camarena, charges not yet verified. He was murdered in January 2011 outside a supermarket near his home.
