Iluwer
Iluwer (aram. אלור) is a deity from the Syrian-Palestinian area. The oldest mention is found in a stele of King Zakkir of Hamath from the end of the ninth century BC. In it Iluwer is called מראה / "his lord", i. Lord and thus the personal or dynasty of King Zakkir.
In later Akkadian lists, Iluwer is equated with Hadad. It is controversial to what extent this old tradition is, or merely a late syncretism.
The first name component includes the common noun "El" for Godhead. E. Lipinksi interprets the second part of the name as Mer, that is, the eponymous city god of Mari
