Andreas Remmert

Remmert began his legal career in 1993 in the Higher Justice Service of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. He was first employed by the District Court of Bergisch Gladbach and the District Court of Cologne. In 1999, he was seconded to the Ministry of Justice of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia for three years. In 2003 he was appointed judge at the Oberlandesgericht in Cologne. In 2006, he returned to the Ministry of Justice, where he was head of the department responsible for private law.
