Makhanlal Chaturvedi (4 April 1889 - 30 January 1968) was a well-known poet, writer and journalist of India, whose works have become very popular. He was a unique Hindi composer of simple language and emotive emotions. Biography

Mr. Makhanlal Chaturvedi was born in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh on the place named Babi. His father's name was Nandlal Chaturvedi, who was a teacher in the village primary school.
