This is a documentary film presented by the Cultural and Informative Service of the United States Embassy produced by the Secretary of Culture of the city of Buenos Aires and the Presidente Alvear Theater. The assembly was in charge of Fernández Jurado with the collaboration of Cinemateca Argentina based on material provided by NASA.

The theme of the film is the conquest of space from the first suborbital flight manned by Alan Shepard to the launch of Apollo 11.
