Vemna

Gana Vema Buddha Reddy - Weimna (1652-1730) was a Telugu poet and thinker from the South Andhra region who is known for the Vedas and Yoga Sermon. His real name was Guna Vema Buddha Reddy. They are called by the name of Yogi Vemna. He was born in Andhra Pradesh's district Nellore.

In Telugu Sahitya history his verses are famous in the name of "Vemna Sath Kallu" (వేమన శతకాలు). CP Broughan collected and published his poems in the 19th century. early life
