Manasolas (Manas + Ullas = Glory of Man) is the important Sanskrit text of the 12th century, the author of which is the King Someshwar III of the Chalukyavans. It is also called 'aspirant chintamamani'. It was composed in 112 9E In this book, the details of Raja's 100 jokes are compiled. It contains lyrics, instruments, dance, utility in the then contemporary society and details of the key principles. It is an important fact that Chalukya Vaishali King Someshwar himself wrote this book. This text is divided into five 'Vishnits'. There are twenty chapters in each Vishita. Each chapter is related to a specific subject. The fifth name of Vishnati is 'sportswear' in which the sports played in the court are described. These are described as 'Pascrewida', 'Gokkrida' etc.
