Fernando Torrico Cabrera is a Bolivian singer and musician born in the city of Cochabamba in 1964, an interpreter of Christian music, before folk music. He became an integral part of the Los Kjarkas group and later joined Edwin Castellanos, to form part of the musical duo Tupay from 1996 to 2000. After the dissolution of the duo, Fernando converted to evangelical Christianity and then emigrated to the United States where currently resides with his wife, the Beninese singer Gina Gil and the rest of his family. With his wife, they formed the Christian music duo called Latidos. At the moment only it is dedicated to interpreting praises, in some occasions it has visited Bolivia only to appear in Protestant churches and to interpret Christian music, of which it was one of interpreting exponents of the Bolivian folclor.
