Church of Santa Bárbara (Llaranes)

The Church of Santa Barbara is a religious temple of Catholic worship under the invocation of Santa Barbara located in the neighborhood of Llaranes, in Avilés, in the Principality of Asturias, Spain. History

It was built in the working village of Llaranes, belonging to Ensidesa in 1957, and consecrated in December of the same year. It is the personal design of Juan Manuel Cárdenas, although the main altar is Francisco Goicoechea Agustí.

It is located on a hill in the village and separates the area of ​​the rivers with that of the mountains.

They highlight his paintings frescoes, stained glass and mosaics made by Eugenio Francisco Javier Clavo Gil, better known as Javier Clavo.
