Cueva de los Arrieros


Cueva de los Arrieros is a cave with rock representations located in the municipality of Los Barrios, province of Cádiz (Spain). It belongs to the group of rock deposits called Southern art, closely related to the rock art of the Mediterranean arch of the Iberian Peninsula.

This coat was located by French archaeologist Henri Breuil in his 1929 work Rock paintings of Southern Andalusia. A description of a neolithic and copper age Art Group next to the Jata Valley and open to the south. The German historian Uwe Topper located the cave in 1975 and painted paintings. These paintings, of little interest in relation to others of the zone, consist in three small groups of arrows and lines of very clear red color. .
