Satat Charandas (1706 - 1785) is known as the most ancient Yogi in the series of Yogacharyas of India. You established the 'Kanchasi Sampradaya'. He gave special importance to Yogasadana by keeping a symposical view.

Charan Das Ji was born in 1706 AD in Dehra gram of Alwar district of Rajasthan (Mewar region). Their childhood was lost in childhood. His father also gave up residence at this time. For this reason, his grandmother, who lived in Delhi, came to Delhi with Charandas. This time Charandas was only 7 years old. In this period India was a victim of many social evils. There was a distorted form of the lower-caste caste. The people were stricken with the people of Manashbadar. Social values had collapsed in society. The effects of Tantric Buddhists were still alive. Little princes were losing their everything in front of the western monarch, fighting among themselves. Uncertainty insecurity was spreading cultural religious emptiness. In such a time, Charandas Ji started to preach the spiritual practice of Ashtanga Yoga for the purpose of life for the powerful door of Krishna-devotion. At the age of 79, in 1785 AD, Charandas Ji was a sad person. In the same place, Yoga has continued for life. Even today, the amphitheater near Jama Masjid is active according to the disciplines given to them. Thousands of followers of Yoga are still meditative on their paths. Works
Yogi Charandas ji composed many texts for philanthropy on the basis of practical experience of his sadhana, out of which 17 short texts are attainable. In these texts, the essence of all the practices of Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Mantra and Lyyogyas yoga satyagraha have been critically incorporated. Some of these 17 works are -
AshtangaYog and Shakhkar are in the Q & A style in Hathaog narration. In Ashtangayog, 153 Doha and all-round paraphrase have been given a Guru-disciple dialogue. Similarly, the Shakhkar Hatha Yoga is presented in the form of a total of 41 Doha and all-rounded verses in the Guru Disciple Dialogue style. The queries of the disciples of the Ashtang Yoga texts are presented in a dialogue style by the Guruvakals. This is a completely new presentation given by Charandas of Sadhana, which is a unique example of his practical originality.
