Rudolf Fertl (* July 7, 1928 in Mauer near Amstetten) is a former Austrian politician (SPÖ) and social insurance employee. Fertl was a member of the National Council from 1978 to 1990.

After studying at the Volksschule, Fertl attended a real gymnasium and studied at the University of Vienna after obtaining his Matura. After completing his studies as a social insurance employee, he served as SPÖ between 1965 and 1971 in the municipal council of Mauer. Between 1970 and 1971 he was mayor of the municipality, after which he served as a member of the council from 1972 to 1985.
