Jiufeng-Erdbebenstation


The Jiufeng earthquake station (Jiufeng dizhentai 鹫峰 地震 台, or Beijing Xishan Jiufeng dizhentai 北京 西山 鹫峰 地震 台) is a 1930 in the Beijing West Mountains (Xi Shan 西山) by the seismologist Li Shanbang (李善邦) and the Geophysicist Qin Xinling (秦 馨 菱) constructed earthquake station. It was the first modern Chinese earthquake station. The building is located in the south of the Xiufeng Temple (Xiufeng si 秀峰 寺) in the Jiufeng Forest Park (Jiufeng guojia senlin gongyuan 鹫峰 国家 森林 公园). Edit source text Weblinks Edit sourcetext
