Applied cryptography (original title: Applied Cryptography: Algorithms and Source Code in C) is a non-fiction book by the American computer scientist Bruce Schneier and is considered the standard work of cryptography. It was published for the first time in 1994 by the publisher John Wiley & amp; Sons, 2005 in German translation by Pearson. The author provides a comprehensive theoretical and practical insight into information security.
