Ann Brashares (Alexandria, Virginia, July 30, 1967) is an American writer. She is the author of the series of novels The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (translated into Spanish under the title Summer in jeans).
Ann Brashares was born and raised in Washington D.C. He studied Philosophy at Columbia University in New York. He worked in the publishing sector until the year 2000, the date of the publication of his first novel, Verano en vaqueros, which was an unexpected success among the adolescent public and followed by several titles of the same series. This series of books was the basis of two films, One for All and One for All 2, which summarize the last three books.
Ann lives in New York with her husband and three children. Spend summers on Fire Island.
