Valdebaró

Valdebaró is a valley of the Spanish province of Cantabria, which coincides approximately with the municipality of Camaleño, crossed by the river Deva from its source in Fuente Dé until its union in Potes with its tributary the Quiviesa. Historically, Valdebaró was one of the valleys that formed the old province of Liébana, composed of the councils or towns of Argüébanes, Baró, Cosgaya, Espinama, Lon and Brez, Mogrovejo, Pembes, Santibáñez and Tanarrio. When there was a judicial party based in Potes, they belonged to it. Currently, like all the rest of Liébana, they are part of the judicial party of San Vicente de la Barquera.
