Ángel Salamanca Ortega (born 1938, Cuéllar) is a Spanish painter and teacher.

Born in the village of Cuéllar in Segovia in 1938, there he studied his first studies and later completed them in the provincial capital and in Madrid. He worked as a professor of drawing at the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamón and at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico in the 1970s.

He has received numerous awards throughout his professional career, and among the centers that have part of his work are the Museum of Art of Ponce (Puerto Rico), the Museum of Art of Philadelphia (United States), the National Library of Spain (Madrid) and also in private collections.
