Takashi Atōda

Takashi Atōda (January 13, 1935) is a Japanese writer who was chairman of the Japanese PES Center from 2007 to 2011.

Atōda debuted in 1953 as a writer for eighteen years, and since then has appeared as the author of a comprehensive mystery literature work. He also wrote science fiction stories. In 1979, he was awarded the Naoki Prize for Napporeon kyō. A collection of his short stories in English translation appeared in 1993 under the title The Square Persimmon and Other Stories.
