National Institute of Historical Studies of the Revolutions of Mexico

The National Institute of Historical Studies of Mexican Revolutions (INEHRM) (formerly National Institute of Historical Studies of the Mexican Revolution) has been a decentralized administrative body of the Ministry of the Interior since 1953. It focuses on research, promotion of events of political, cultural, economic and social history that were propitiated by the great social movements that have designed the history of the nation, such as the war of independence, liberal reform, the Mexican Revolution and the democratic manifestations of the 20th century and XXI.

The institute is a body under the Ministry of Public Education since 2010, when it ceased to be dependent on the Ministry of the Interior.

It has its own legal and regulatory framework.
