Mustapha Toumi


Mustapha Toumi (born July 14, 1937 in Algiers, † April 3, 2013) was an Algerian writer.

Toumi was a member of the Culture Commission of the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN) and the Ministry of Information of Algeria. He wrote poems and essays on cultural policy topics. In 1969, he published the anthology Pour l`Afrique. The story of Senegalese, created in 1969, was translated from French into German by Karl Heinrich.
