Gottfried Wunder


Gottfried Wunder (* 23 October 1912 in Himmelberg, Carinthia, † 7 June 1972 ibid) was an Austrian politician (ÖVP). Edit LifeQualtext

After visiting the Volks- und Mittelschule, Gottfried Wunder worked as an employee in the private sector. In 1933 he was appointed Secretary of the Christian Unions of Carinthia; to become a speaker in the Carinthian Chamber of Labor only a year later, in 1934. During the Second World War, Gottfried Wunder was a civilian employee at various military service centers.

After the war, Wunder was a member of the ÖVP in the Carinthian Landtag in 1945. In 1946, he was elected Vice-President of the Carinthian Chamber of Labor. In March 1953 he was finally sworn in as a member of the National Council in Vienna. He was a member of Parliament until June 1959. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
