Edit HistoryQual

The club was founded in 1966 as the Stroitel Karaganda (Строитель Караганда) and played first in the third-highest Soviet league, which the team, which had already been renamed Awtomobilist in 1980, was able to win in 1983. In the first season the descent from the Perwaja League took place. In the next season, the team has made the ascent. The team took part in the International League from 1992 to 1996, but mostly occupied one of the last places. In 1993 the team received the old name Stroitel. Due to financial difficulties, the association was dissolved in 1996. In 1998, the team was re-established as an avtomobilist, but resolved after just one season in the Kazakh championship.

The unofficial successor team of Awtomobilist is the HK Saryarka Karaganda, founded in 2006. Known players Edit source text Edit Trainers Weblinks Edit sourcetext
