Lesley Riddle

Lesley Riddle was a very influential blues guitarist and singer in the world of American folk music.

He was a friend of the Carter Family, one of Hillbilly's most influential groups, and guitar teacher to Maybelle Carter, who taught the fingerpicking style that made her famous. It was also the main supplier of the group's black folk repertoire.

He only recorded an album under his name, for the Rounder label (Step by step), but according to specialists he is one of the brightest blues in history, full of ballads, ragtime and blues, Piedmont Style. p>
