Walkman-chanakya

Walkman-Chanakya is a free non-Unicode Hindi font. It is somewhat like the Chanakya font in appearance and is popular as a free alternative.

Where Chanakya can not be written for any separate software (4C clippers for Remington, e-consecutive IME for Inscript), Walkman-Chanakya can be written by Remington Layout without any separate tools. To write an Inscript Layout is a tool called e-Powered IME.

There are several variants in the Walkman-Chanqya series, such as 9 01, 9 02, 9 03, whose keyboard layouts and character map are the same. Walkman-Chanakya is used by some publications to print books. Also see them
