Villeneuve is a former municipality of Quebec. It was incorporated in 1921, under the name of Beauport-Est, by detachment from the municipality of Beauport. In 1951, she changed her name to Villeneuve. It acquired the status of city in 1956. In 1976, Villeneuve reintegrated Beauport and became one of its districts. In 2002, during the municipal reorganizations, Beauport became a borough of Quebec City. The Villeneuve sector is now divided between the districts of Vieux-Bourg and Chutes-Montmorency in this district. Change the code
