Juan Gualberto Valdivia Romero (Ancash, February 6, 1948) is a Peruvian architect and politician. Member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, has been deputy, mayor of Chimbote and Congressman of the Republic, representing the Department of Ancash. It was from July 28, 2006 to October 14, 2008, Minister of Energy and Mines of Peru. At the moment 69.

Studies

Juan Valdivia studied at the Federico Villareal National University, specializing in architecture and urbanism. He began his studies in 1965 and finished them in 1971, doing them in Lima. Political life

A member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, he was a deputy in 1985 and 1990. In 2001 he was elected as Congressman and tried to run again in 2006, but he did not succeed. Valdivia Romero, however, would become Minister of Energy and Mines. Minister of Energy and Mines
