Special registration camp Meyn

The Meyn special camp was a nuclear weapon at Meyn about 13 km west-west of the city of Flensburg. It was in operation from about 1973 until about 1992. Nuclear bombs were used for the rocket artillery battalion 650, which was located in the Briesen-Barracks in Flensburg-Weiche and co-operated with the 294th United States Army Artillery Group (294th USAAG). Among the systems, the nuclear warhead W52 belonged to the MGM-29 sergeant and from 1977 the nuclear warhead W70 for the MGM-52 Lance. During the operation there were blockades through the peace movement. Edit source text Single-level Edit source text
