Joseph Stromberg

Joseph R. Stromberg is an American paleolibertarian political analyst and researcher, columnist for Antiwar.com, LewRockwell.com and The Freeman. His research interests include US foreign policy, the war on terrorism and the history of anti-federalists. He is a researcher at the Independent Institute, and previously held the chair JoAnn B. Rothbard in the history of the Ludwig von Mises Institute. He studied at Florida Atlantic University and at the University of Florida. Stromberg coined the term libertarianism to criticize those who define themselves as libertarians, supposing that philosophically they defend the non-intervention of the State in the lives of its citizens, but that they contradict the military, colonial or political intervention in foreign nations to the just like the neoconservatives.
