Valley Forge (film)

Valley Forge is a 1975 film adaptation adapted from Maxwell Anderson's Broadway play about the United States War of Independence in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, although part of the film was filmed in Canada. This film was directed by Fielder Cook and starring Richard Basehart, who plays General George Washington.

The plot is partly about the secret plan to escape Valley Forge from men desperate to leave behind the terrible conditions of winter there. The 75-minute film omitted the female lead character, Mary Philipse.
