Papierfresserchen MTM-Verlag is an independent publishing house based at Lake Constance, founded in March 2007. In addition to numerous publications in the fields of picture books, children's books up to 11 years, youth book from 12 years and adult literature (ToMa-Edition), the publishing house has launched various projects in the past years to promote reading literacy. Regular contests are held every year for children and young people (up to 15 years of age) as well as anthology projects for adult authors (16 years and over).
The publishing house is run by Martina and Thorsten Meier. When in December 2004 the children's and young people's book portal www.papierfresserchen.de was put online, it was initially intended as a pure review portal. 2007 became from this project the Papierfresserchen MTM publishing house. Since 2008 there is the ToMA-Edition for adult literature. Around 500 titles have been published since then. In 2009, the publishing house was distinguished by the Federal Government and the German economy for its commitment to the promotion and promotion of young authors.
