Lidia Bocanegra Barbecho


Lidia Bocanegra Barbecho holds a doctorate in history. He is currently working at the University of Granada, as Vice-Rector of Research and Transfer of the UGR as Technical Projects International since 2013, and responsible for the Digital Humanities Area of ​​MediaLab UGR since 2015. Biography

Following her studies, she studied abroad, such as at the Università degli Studi della Tuscia in Italy in 2003, and at the National University of Mar del Plata in Argentina in 2004. She holds a doctorate in history, a contemporary, Americanist and specialist in digital humanities and management of international research projects in 2006 by the University of Lleida and the National University of Mar del Plata. Once again abroad, it is formed in Ireland in the field of ICT applied to research and historical dissemination with courses accredited in the web and information architecture online during the years 2008 and 2009.

Develops research projects related to working methodologies dedicated to B2B technical support during its post-doctorate at the Irish technology companies VoxPro-Google and Trend Micro between 2009 and 2012. At the same time, develops and manages a E-Project of the Ministry of Labor and Immigration: e-xiliad @ s, aimed at recovering unpublished sources about anonymous republican exiles abroad.

At present, his latest publications mainly deal with the methodologies of collection and investigation of unpublished material online and identities of the exile in the network, oriented to the memories of war.

Regarding associations, she is a researcher attached to the Historical Research Center of the Spanish Democracy and the Chair of Exile, and a member of the board of directors of the Association of Historians of the Present since 2008. Since 2010 she has been president of the Association Network of Contemporary Studies, since 2014 coordinates the Community on Digital History of GrinUGR, and since 2015 is a member of the European Network Association.
