Daigoro Timoncini (born December 13, 1985 in Faenza) is an Italian wrestler. He is a four-time Italian heavyweight champion in Greek-Roman style.

Timoncini has been a member of the renowned Atletico CISA club. In 2004 he won his first national championship in the weight class up to 96 kilograms. Further titles followed in 2005, 2006 and 2008. After his qualification for the Olympic Games in 2004, he took a top position at the European Championship 2005 in Varna. In September 2007, he finished fifth at the World Cup in Baku, qualifying for the Summer Olympics in 2008. For the preparation, the trained policeman was released from the service for a year.

From 2004 to 2008, Timoncini belonged to the squad of the wrestling federation KSV Ketsch. In the spring of 2008, he switched to the ASV Mainz 88. Weblinks Edit sourcetext
