Sudarshanacharya

Jagadguru Sudarshanarya (born 27 May 1937, died 22 May 2007) was a famous Hindu saint of Vaishnavism founded by Shri Ramanujacharya, who received innumerable Siddhis from Tempol. Born in the name of Shivdayal Sharma in the farming family of a Brahmin caste, in Padla village of Sawai Madhopur district in Rajasthan, this child had become aware of duty only at the age of three and a half years. Because of his religious interest being awakened from his childhood, he adopted the best religion of human service at the age of seven. After taking a serious study of Vedas, Puranas and Philosophy, he practiced penance for twelve years and received the supernatural power of knowing the past, the future and the present through meditation yoga. He founded Siddhadar Ashram in 1990 on the Sadhshank Road, near Faridabad, which has now transformed itself into a famous Siddha Vidyalay.

In 1998, all saints of Mahatma Gandhi gathered in Haridwar Maha Kumbh and everyone unanimously granted him the title of Jagadguru. Even today, the smoke set by him in the ashram continues to be consistent with the effect of his penance, just as he was able to survive. Sudarshanacharya has now become Brahmin (departed), but for the sake of the devotees, their steps (standing) have been established near their samadhi.

Even today, the devotees of their devotees are kept in the Siddhadar Ashram. Anyone coming here is allowed to belong to any religion, caste or community, without any discrimination. At present, Swami Purushottam Acharya listens to the problems of devotees coming here and suggests his solution according to the wisdom of Sadhpeeth. This Ashram has now become a pilgrimage site for millions of people coming from abroad.
