Rajendra Singh was born on June 15, 1899, in the Kardhwad region, which is currently located in the western state of India. She was the third child of Devisinhji Jadeja. His family is from the ruling dynasty of the Indian principality Navanagara (in present-day Jamnagar), and Devisinhji was the uncle of KS Dulip Singh, the elder brother of KS Ranjeet Singh, two cricket legends. In 1928, Rajendrasinhji married Maya Kuvarba. Their three children became parents. His son, Maharaj Sukhdev Singhji married the princess Vijayalakshmi Drafting of Masuda Rajputana, his younger daughter married Raja Sahib HH of Khairagarh (now in Chhattisgarh) in the princely state of Khaigarh in present-day Madhya Pradesh, he is a Lok Sabha MP and popular leader in his constituency . Rajendra Singhji got education from Rajkumar College, Rajkot and after that he went to Malvan College, after which he chose his career in the army, he joined the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the second Royal Lancers in 1922. As the King's Commission Indian Officer, he received various positions in the British Indian Army and was given specialties during World War II.
