InI (hip-hop group)
INI was an American hip-hop group made up of Rass, Rob-O, Grap Luva and Marco Polo. One of the INI records, Center of Attention, is one of two included in Lost & amp; Found: Hip Hop Underground Soul Classics, a double LP with Pete Rock productions of the mid-nineties, canceled at the time by Elektra Records and later released by Rapster Distribution in 2003. Pete Rock himself appeared on the single track of the album , Fakin 'Jax. Also appeared, in the subject To each his own, Large Professor and Q-Tip. The album Center of Attention is one of the most pirated unpublished albums in hip-hop history. Although Pete Rock is not an official member of the group, he is considered synonymous with him, since he produced Center of Attention entirely, in addition to that the MC of the group Grap Luva is his small brother. The most well-known theme of Center of Attention, "Fakin 'Jax", was recorded just after the split of the duet Pete Rock & amp; CL Smooth. Disgruntled by the behavior of his longtime musical companion, Rock aired his disagreements implicitly in the opening stanza of "Fakin 'Jax." In an interview with Jerry Barrow, Pete pointed out, referring to the song: That was just after separation with CL Smooth. That first stanza talked about him. You can not call your family and then bite the hand that feeds you. This is how the song came about.
