It is said about the birth of Shukdev that this Maharishi was the son of Ayodhya of Ved Vyas, and he lived in the womb of the mother for twelve years. The story goes like this. Lord Shiva, Parvati was listening to Amar Katha. Parvati ji came to sleep listening to the story and listening to the story, and a Shukar sitting there in his place started hiking. When Lord Shiva came to know about this, he ran to kill Shuk and left his trident behind him. Shukra ran away in the three places to save life, ran away, ran into the ashram of Vyas ji and got into the mouth of his wife by making it subtle. He was left in his womb. It is said that it did not come out of the womb for twelve years. When Lord Krishna came upon himself and assured them that will not affect Maya upon you coming out, then he got out of the womb and called the son of Vyasji. In the womb, he had a proper knowledge of the Vedas, Upanishads, Philosophies and Puranas etc.
On being born, they ran towards the forest in the childhood only for the bliss, such was their emotions from their world. But Mr. Vyas ji also cried behind him with a whispering voice. Some girls were bathing in a reservoir on the way, when they saw Shukdev Ji Maharaj, they did not take care of their condition and took blessings of Shukdev ji. But when Mr. Vyas arrived in Mohan behind Shukdev, all the girls were hidden. Shukdev ji Maharaj started the recitation with such worldly emotions.
